Consider Me Entertained

It was a different kind of year for gathering wasn't it? If anything, it made me really appreciate opening up our home to the people we love and having them feel safe and welcomed.

It also made me appreciate our little home and the ability to create a cozy, inviting space to entertain our friends and family. We completed this dining nook area of home as the perfect entertaining spot with this cabinet from Allmodern this year. It doubles as a record cabinet and a storage piece.

We love the nostalgia of playing records while we entertain so this cabinet was exactly what we were looking for. And it was literally the EXACT size we needed to fit between the window and this wall - call it meant to be for sure!

We've built up quite the record collection over the years and it's fun to let our guests choose what they'd like to listen to over dinner.

The record storage is a major upgrade from what we had before and keeps our toddler from getting into them (he's definitely ruined a few in the past).

On the other side, we've chosen to use it as a bar cart and my husband loves to offer guests a drink when they come over.

We've already had several people over and have loved the ease of having all our entertaining items in one area. Several people thought it was a vintage piece which made my vintage-loving heart so happy!

The quality wood mixed with the sleek brass handles make it just the right piece for our dining room.
