Fall Maternity Style Guide

Updated: Nov 15, 2018

Although my third pregnancy, this is my first winter baby. With my other two, I was small enough in the winter months to get by in regular clothes. But this time around I've had to find my way into fall/winter maternity style instead of just throwing on a flowy dress and calling it good.

At almost 7 months pregnant, I've found a simple, mix-and-match style that works for all the aspects of my life.

Everyday Style

- A pair of full-panel maternity support leggings are the holy grail of maternity clothing in my opinion. I wear these the most out of any other piece in my wardrobe right now. I'm wearing Blanqui Maternity Support leggings in black and I give them a 10/10! My only recommendation would be to size-up, I did this based on the reviews on the website and I'm so glad I did. I normally wear a small and I got a medium and they are perfectly form-fitting and easy to grow with to full-term without feeling too tight.

- This Old Navy cardigan is THE cardigan for me. Long enough to cover my booty, a great color olive green and super soft and washes well!

- I also got a couple neutral henley shirts and sweaters that can grow with me and are easy to put on under a cardigan or a vest!

- My favorite everyday jewelry is this choker + monogram disc necklace of my boys' initials.

- Easiest way to have comfort and style with everyday outfits, are these Lotta's from Stockholm clogs. The heel is the perfect height to still be comfortable and they look great with dresses and jeans!

- I'm getting into practice having to be hands-free again soon with this Josefina leather backpack/bucket bag combo. It's perfect for carrying before baby and then has all the storage and compartments you need when baby arrives! It also comes with bonus stroller straps and can be monogrammed!

Date night

- Find a few things that still make you feel pretty! This ruched dress hugs in all the right places when you have a bump.

- A cozy, chunky scarf will help you add flair and color to any outfit and is easy to dress up or down!

- When going out, it's so nice to have a small, crossbody bag. I've had this leather one from Little Brick House for years and it's a favorite.

Play Style

- A lot of this season calls for me to be present and ready to play with my boys. This means I need a comfortable pair of maternity jeans. I'm loving these jeans the most out of any I've found.

- It also calls for boots that I don't mind getting dirty or exploring in. I found these Sorel boots for a steal on Poshmark and have worn them so much!

- Again with the easy neutral sweaters and simple mix and match accessories like this quilted vest and beanie.

Hope you found this to be helpful if you're looking for some staple pieces that will help get your through a fall/winter pregnancy!
